Making your own character

Taking orders

When a customer is standing in line click “Take Order” to take their order. The order is automatically copied onto an Order Ticket. Once the order is taken, the customer will now wait in the “Pick Up” line at the back.

  • If a customer is waiting too long before the order is taken you will lose points. Take orders as fast as possible.
  • If you take a long time preparing for the customer’s order, you will also lose points.
  • You can purchase posters and furniture in the lobby to improve the customers’ patience. They won’t mind waiting longer with these.

Order System

The sushi is prepared based on this order

  • Paper Type
  • Rice Type
  • Fillings
  • Topping
  • Shaker
  • Sauce
  • Tea Flavor
  • Tea Bubbles

An order number is located at the top left of the Ticket.

Each order starts with a wrap/paper and the type of rice that will be used. Some orders will show a Flip symbol by the rice. This means that customers prefer the rice to be outside of the roll. Sushi fillings are shown in the circle between the paper and the rice. Anything above the paper and rice should go on top of the sushi after it has been rolled. At the top of the ticket is the flavor of the customer’s preferred bubble tea along with the type of bubble to be added on the drink. Each customer has their own favorite order. Just be sure to serve them the correct flavors, fillings, and toppings that they ordered. Once done, drag tickets to the “ticket line” hanging across the top of the screen. You can drag a ticket onto the side hook to make it appear larger. This would be pretty helpful if you are making more than one orders. You can also drop a ticket on the side hook to swap them. When you grab a ticket, you can pull it towards the bottom of the screen to zoom in, to read it better.

Come up with your organizational system where you are most comfortable.

Cook Station

Drag a bit of rice onto a Sushi Square rice cooker. Wait until the rice is half-way done. Drag the bottle of Vinegar onto the rice cooker to add it on the rice. Wait for the rice to finish. You can drag/roll the paper onto the bamboo mat to spread it out for an order. When the rice is finished drag the entire rice cooker onto the bamboo mat to spread the rice on top of the paper.

  • Make sure that you used the correct paper and rice. If you used the wrong type, you’ll lose points.
  • Don’t forget to add the vinegar to the rice halfway. If you forget or if it’s too late, you’ll lose points.
  • You can buy upgrades in the shop to boost your speed or to have an alarm when the rice needed the vinegar and if the rice is already finished.

Build Station

Your rice roll will then appear on the counter of the Build Station. Drag a filling onto the unrolled sushi and start spreading it. You’ll automatically grab a handful. After you place your first piece, keep clicking on the sushi to place the rest. Try to space the filling evenly from front to back. After you’ve added the fillings the customer ordered, press the green ROLL button to roll the sushi. Drag shakers and sauce bottles above the sushi roll and release them to start pouring. It will just automatically keep pouring until it runs out. After you’ve added your items, it’s now time to slice the sushi roll into 8 pieces. To do this, drag the knife unto the roll and start making cuts. When you release the knife, you’ll make your first slice. Keep clicking and the slices will automatically move to the serving plate.

  • If you use the wrong fillings or don’t space them evenly, you’ll lose points.
  • When you’re adding a handful of toppings they’ll change color if they’re overlapping. Space them out.
  • If you use the wrong toppings or don’t use them evenly across the roll, you’ll lose points.
  • If you cut don’t cut your roll into even-sized slices, you’ll also lose points. You can buy a cutting guide to help you slice your sushi rolls evenly.

Tea Station

In Papa’s Sushiria, each customer will order a Bubble Tea to complement their meal. You’ll first add mill to the cup of Bubble Tea. Wait for the meter to be centered on the star, and press the green Pour Button. Choose the tea flavor the customer ordered, then repeat the process of pouring it to the cup. Afterward, choose the flavor of the bubbles and press the pour button again when the meter is centered. If you are done, drag the Bubble Tea next to the plate of the sushi. You will see a dotted line marker on the counter. When you’ve set the tea, drag the Order Ticket onto the Ticket Holder on the right to finish the order and give it to the customer.

  • You lose points if you use the wrong flavors for the tea and bubbles.
  • If you didn’t press the Pour Button when the meter is centered, you will lose points.
  • You can buy an upgrade in the Shop to automatically pour the ingredients when the meter is centered.

When you finish an order, the customer will now consume their order. If you did a great job, they’ll give you a large tip. If you did a poor job, you’ll get a small tip or none!

You will be rated by your customers based on the following:

Music and Sound

Background music complements the story mode gameplay well. It is not distracting and creates a mood that would carry you through a long gaming time. Though an average stage can be done in minutes, there are multiple stages that you would want to do a marathon on. You can turn the music on and off on the settings if you wish to play the game in silence.
